Kellie Pickler’s husband, Kyle Jacobs, dies at the age of 49!
Nashville police have confirmed the passing of Kellie Pickler‘s husband, Kyle Jacobs (49), a producer and composer for country music who co-starred in a CMT documentary series with his wife. Authorities say that Jacobs seemed to have committed suicide on Friday in their Nashville home.
The Nashville Department of Emergency Communications reports that a 911 call was received on Friday at 1:21 pm local time. Police and members of the Nashville Fire Department arrived at Pickler and Jacobs’ home on Sneed Road. According to a police statement, Pickler informed officers that when she first woke up, she did not see her husband and immediately started looking for him. The statement also said that when she and a personal assistant were unable to unlock the door to the upstairs bedroom/office, the assistant dialed 911.
Jacobs has collaborated with musicians including Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Darius Rucker, Garth Brooks, and Kelly Clarkson. He was also the producer of Lee Brice‘s I Drive Your Truck, which earned an Academy of Country Music Award in 2014.
