Alison Brie’s Weight Loss: Workout Routine and Diet of the 40-Year-Old Actress!

Alison Brie has recently undergone a massive amount of weight loss following a strict workout routine and a healthy diet. The 40-year-old actress’ workout routine consists of numerous components. Essentially, she began exercising to make herself feel better and to avoid mental health issues and sadness because they were prevalent in her family. Follow to know about Alison’s exercise regimen in detail.

Alison Brie Schermerhorn (born December 29, 1982) is an actress, writer, director, and producer from the United States. In the drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), she had her breakout role as Trudy Campbell, for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Later, she rose to prominence as Annie Edison in the NBC sitcom Community (2009–2015) and as Diane Nguyen in the animated comedy series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020).

In addition to her television work, Brie has appeared in films such as Scream 4 (2011), The Five-Year Engagement (2012), The Lego Movie (2014), Get Hard (2015), Sleeping with Other People (2015), How to Be Single (2016), The Little Hours (2017), The Disaster Artist (2017), The Post (2017), Promising Young Woman (2020), Horse Girl (2020), The Rental (2020), and Happiest Season (2020).

The actress was most recently seen in Prime’s Somebody I Used To Know, where she played Ally. With the release of the show, many viewers have noticed that Alison Brie’s appearance does not resemble her appearance in her previous films. Likewise, viewers also believe she is far too thin than she used to be. As a result, people are been curious about her weight loss journey. So, let’s get started.

Alison Brie’s Weight Loss: The 40-Year-Old Actress Has Completely Transformed Her Body Following Strict Workouts and a Healthy Diet!

Alison Brie (@alisonbrie) has consistently displayed stunning good looks and an advanced and powerful personality in the entertainment Industry. She is also said to have lost weight during this time. And since her appearance on Prime Video’s Somebody I Used To Know, her weight loss journey has been a hot topic.

When you achieve a massive feat in the gym, you want to share it with the rest of the world, and actress Alison Brie is no exception. The 40-year-old Glow star previously posted some seriously impressive fitness videos to her Instagram Stories. Brie made a point of going for a slow jog every few days to recover from the endless rounds of pull-ups and Bulgarian split squats. She also attended a weekly class at Walsh’s Rise Nation studio, where she spent 30 minutes on a VersaClimber to raise her heart rate. This vertical climbing machine provides an intense full-body workout.

Meanwhile, SQUAY trainer Erin James previously told Well+Good, “You can use it three ways: climb with your hands and knees, just use your hands while standing on the ground for an arm workout, or just use your legs and hold the sidebars with your arms for a more centralized workout on your legs.”

Likewise, Alison Brie also credits constant eating for getting her through those agonizing resistance training sessions—primarily protein, vegetables, and good fats, according to Walsh. Having proper nutrition is very important if you want weight loss. According to Brie,  “A lot of women, especially in my profession, feel like they have to starve themselves to lose weight. I’ve certainly felt that way in the past. But while training for the show, I was eating more than ever and I’ve never felt better.”

And according to athletic coach Kari Lansing, CSCS, in a previous interview with Well+Good, said “When you don’t eat enough food, your body goes into ‘rebuild mode,’ and that’s not productive for a workout. Not eating enough can undermine your workouts because you won’t have enough energy to make the most of exercise.”

Brie was not only physically prepared to play a wrestler and throw down tons of dropkicks and pile drivers (yes, she did all of her own stunts), but it also gave her a huge confidence boost. Later, she stated, “Heavy lifting is so empowering—you really feel like a badass. By the time we were shooting the show, I was deadlifting 165 pounds, hip thrusting up to 300 pounds, and doing multiple sets of 10 pull-ups.” It seems she strictly followed her workout and diet to make her weight loss easier and quicker.

Alison Brie put her SoulCycle membership on hold when she began training for the Netflix comedy GLOW—if you haven’t seen it, she plays a struggling actress who starts a side hustle by joining an all-female pro-wrestling squad (basically a kick-ass women’s circle with teased hair and leotards). It seems illogical, doesn’t it? However, it was all part of a master plan laid out by her trainer, Jason Walsh, and dominated by serious weight training.
