Rachel Fuda Before Plastic Surgery: The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Newest Cast Member Admits to Receiving a Nose Job in 2019 in Order to Overcome Her Insecurities!
Rachel Fuda (@rachelfuda), has just made her debut on the show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and has already been called out by a fellow cast member for getting a bad nose job right before getting into the show. The ladies gathered at Teresa Giudice‘s home for a housewarming party with her now-husband Luis Ruelas on February 28, 2023, episode of the Bravo hit. Jennifer Aydin brought up Rachel’s plastic surgery in front of her co-stars at that point. Jennifer told her costars,
I called [Rachel] up and I said, ‘I’m sorry that I spoke about your nose job.People bad-mouth me about my terrible nose job. I felt bad about your terrible nose job, and I just felt bad. I was calling to apologize.
Celebrities nowadays opt for a nose job to change the shape of their nose. They favor these options for a more appealing appearance. In the case of real housewives, it appears that the cast members choose to change their appearances in order to overcome insecurities. However, plastic surgery has its risks as some could regret their decision while others love it.
Having a rhinoplasty was a decision made by Rachel Fuda in 2019. But the question of whether Rachel’s nose was still swollen came up earlier in the episode when Jennifer inquired about it at a group mozzarella party that was illustrated in a flashback. Later, the newest Bravo star recalled a lunch conversation she had with friend Jennifer Fessler. Rachel explained,
So, we leave the mozz party, she calls me [and] she’s like, ‘Hey, I hope I didn’t offend you by, like, bringing up your nose job. You know I’m just like not really happy with my results.
On the other hand, Jennifer has also previously expressed her dissatisfaction with her appearance following her own rhinoplasty, calling it crazy wackadoo during the season 12 premiere episode in February 2022. At the time, she told Page Six,
I know it looks wackadoo in the first episode and I was expecting as much. When we got the schedule, I had already booked my surgery. I was like, ‘Oh my God, when we start filming, I’m going to be like five weeks out. And then I was thinking, ‘You know what? I’m not planning on hiding it. Maybe I could just have my journey while everybody watches, I feel like it’s settled in really nicely. These things, you have to give it a year — you do. With any type of plastic surgery. I would know!
While Rachel Fuda had to deal with a cast member calling out her nose job, she’s been open about getting cosmetic dentistry. On February 16, 2023, she posted a before and after photo, thanking Smile Texas’ Houston office for the 20 veneers she had placed over two sessions.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey created by Scott Dunlop is filmed in Ocean County, Passaic County, Bergen County, Essex County, Morris County, Atlantic County, Monmouth County, Hudson County, Middlesex County, New York City, and Punta Cana, New Jersey, New York, and the Dominican Republic.
Several key scenes from the show are shot in Ocean County, a county in New Jersey’s south-central region. Season 13 cast and crew members were spotted taping key scenes in and around Toms River and Bay Boulevard in Lavalette during the production process.
The show’s production team also set up camp in Passaic County, New Jersey, which is also part of the New York metropolitan area. The housewives and the rest of the crew visit various locations throughout the county, including Totowa, Balocco’s Restaurant at 110 Vincent Drive in Clifton, The Brownstone at 351 West Broadway in Paterson, North Jersey Country Club at 594 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne, and Fullblown Blow-Out & Beauty Lounge at 42 Lake Drive West in Wayne.
