The Loose Women star has made her reasoning very clear for why she wanted to become a healthier version of herself. She is not losing weight for her looks. Nadia loves the way she looks and she is losing weight for her health. She has high cholesterol and her dad has diabetes which she doesn’t fancy inheriting.

With fasting a very controversial diet option, she pointed out that what she is doing isn’t actually a diet. She claimed intermittent fasting is not a diet and it’s a way of eating for life that works brilliantly for her. Likewise, it’s about having more energy, and mental clarity, breaking free from the diet culture, and losing weight which doesn’t cost anyone a penny.

But what is intermittent fasting? There are numerous methods, such as Nadia’s 16/8 and the 5:2 method. Slimmers, according to Healthline, have seen changes in the function of hormones, cells, and genes. Intermittent fasting was found to cause weight loss of three to eight percent over three to 24 weeks in a 2014 review of the scientific literature.

At one point in the pandemic she used to get to the laundry room, put her Air Pods in, and dance for 20 minutes because it was fun. As a busy mum, juggling two teenage daughters with a hectic career, me-time is vital to Nadia, who revealed she loves her infrared sauna blanket. She gets into that blanket and nine times out of 10, Nadia drifts off so that nobody can interrupt her. Nadia Sawalha Was Diagnosed With ADHD in Her Late 50s
Nadia Sawalha (@nadiasawalha) has revealed that she has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in her late fifties. Speaking on Loose Women, she admitted that she had been living with the condition since childhood, but had only been diagnosed after making a film about ADHD for the daytime show. Sawalha was seen in a video segment on the show going through an ADHD assessment and diagnosis with a specialist and speaking with others who have the condition, including her husband, Mark Adderley.
She expressed concern that she had early-onset dementia and discussed her symptoms, including inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. She admitted that she had stopped driving because she couldn’t focus on the road and that she struggled to sit quietly without making any noise to help her relax.
