Lisa Marie Presley fired Barry Siegel in 2015. Two years later, she sued the former business manager for allegedly squandering her $100 million fortune and leaving her bankrupt. In his defense, Barry Siegel claimed that Lisa Marie’s extravagant spending was the true cause of the estate’s massive losses. Lisa Marie was $16 million in debt, according to court documents from her divorce proceedings with Michael Lockwood in 2018. Unpaid taxes from 2012 to 2015 accounted for an estimated $10 million of the debt. The remainder of the debt was made up of credit card bills and unpaid attorney fees.
