However, fans have recently been accusing David Copperfield of getting plastic surgery following his recent appearance on social media. Those who have followed him since the 1990s have seen how his appearance has changed. You might hardly believe it’s the same person if you compare his before and after images.
Likely, many people claimed that the American magician might have received Botox and a facelift to enhance his younger appearance and stop aging. However, the truth is that David Copperfield strongly refutes all of the rumors! He’s a well-known businessman, and he’s adamant about the fact that he’s never had a facelift or Botox. He believes that none of these speculations make any sense.
A facelift is a surgical operation that involves the removal of extra skin, tightening of the skin, and elevation of facial muscles or tissue. It can help with sagging skin and deep wrinkles, among other things. And Botox is an injectable therapy that relaxes the muscles of the face. The International Museum and Library of the Conjuring Arts, which David Copperfield owns, has the world’s biggest collection of historically significant magic memorabilia, books, and artifacts. The museum was founded in 1991 when he purchased the Mulholland Library of Conjuring and the Allied Arts, which housed the world’s largest collection of Houdini memorabilia. It presently has approximately 80,000 artifacts in its collection, including Houdini‘s Water Torture Cabinet and Metamorphosis Trunk, Orson Welles‘ Buzz Saw illusion, and Robert-Houdin automata.

Some magicians criticized Copperfield’s 1991 Mulholland acquisition, which formed the heart of his collection. The museum is not open to the general public; tours are only available to coworkers, other magicians, and serious collectors. The museum is located in a warehouse near Copperfield’s headquarters in Las Vegas and is reached through a secret door in what actor Hugh Jackman humorously described as a sex shop and Forbes as a mail-order lingerie warehouse.
